Royal Borough COVID-19 update

COVID-19: Key information for staff and members 31/03/20

Waste and recycling collections are changing

From Monday 6 April we will be changing our waste collections following staff reductions due to COVID-19.

This means that your general waste (black bin) will be collected one week and recycling (blue bin) the following week. Those in communal properties will still see both bins collected weekly and food waste collections will remain unchanged for all.

Further information on these changes, along with a helpful calendar showing your collection dates, will be available in the coming days.

Government guidance on mental health and wellbeing

During this time, it is normal to feel bored, frustrated or lonely. You may also feel low, worried, anxious, or be concerned about your health or that of those close to you. It is important that you take care of your mind as well as your body and to get further support if you need it.

The government have provided some useful help and advice on how you can look after your mental health during COVID-19.

There are also a number of links on where to go if you feel you need additional support during this time.
