This is a reminder that the M4 will be closed between Junctions 5 (Langley) and 6 (Slough-Windsor) for smart motorway work this weekend. The closure will start from after 8pm this evening, Friday 29 January and will complete by 6am on Monday 1 February 2021. This is for extensive resurfacing, movement of the traffic management and a number of other upgrade activities to make full use of the closure.
The agreed westbound motorway traffic diversion route for the weekend will follow the A4 west from Junction 5, to Slough, then the A355 south to re-join M4 at Junction 6. This will be reversed for eastbound traffic.
